Why…?

Ecological balance including a cleaner more livable city with greenery and improved air quality will enhance the quality of life in urban areas. Creating a green corridor that supports a healthy environment will improve air quality, water quality and amenity for both human beings and other creatures on the earth. 

The creation of the bio diversity will also provide green infrastructure that will help protect against adverse climatic impacts like high temperature, while supporting the livability and sustainability of residential development in urban areas like Bangalore. The bio diversity will also boost the family bonding and also provide opportunities to respect Indigenous knowledge and involve urban people in the development of the greenery. 

How…?

The development of Bio Diversity is applying a new model of innovative and modern engagement of people. This model is to bring about positive social change in environment and eco-system. This can be achieved only with collective initiative by all the individuals in urban areas.

 Significant and constant term work is being undertaken by My Dream Garden through a continuous process of ‘planning and doing’ with the feedback around what is or is not working. This process itself builds engagement, respect and trust. The Bio Diversity will sustain the engagement of a broad range of community members and lead to large scale impact on environment.

Who – bringing people together

People are driving out of cities to capture the pictures of bio diversity. Creating a Bio diversity park on the terraces is the new way of working together and making people to involve in innovative ideas. This approach makes many people to think that they have a role to play in making an impact for things that matter in environmental cycles.

In this context, My Dream Garden has taken a strategic leadership and a representative voice for all urban people to help them to create a bio diversity parks on their terraces. It is not a committee of people but coming together for an action.
