Synthetic nutrients application for plants on your terrace garden

Nutrients Management Sep 11, 2020

Introduction –

Synthetic fertilizers or any Natural fertilizers are origin that is added to the the soil to supply one or more nutrients essential to the growth of plants .Fertilizers are protein supplements for the plants. They are used for the plants and they are used for the enrich the soil with nutrients.

Synthetic nutrients are the MAN MADE nutrients. Which are having one or more essential nutrients . For a material to be qualified as a fertilizer it should containing nutrients in a appreciable amount and inn readily or potential usable form. Nutrients are used with the sole purpose of improving soil fertility so that it can support larger harvest.

Synthetic nutrients need applying the in the suggested quantity beyond if applies nutrients It will effects the soil health (soil loose the fertility) .

Synthetic nutrients when applying to the soil the moisture or water touches nutrient granules the nutrients release to the soil the plant roots will absorb the particular nutrients on basis of  plant requirement. But now a day’s people are affriding about the synthetic nutrients, plants are required the nutrients for their growth and development these nutrients of store in the final product.

They are rich in three essential nutrients which are – N, P, K (Nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus) needed for plant growth.

List of the Synthetic Nutrients

DAP – Diammonium phosphate

MOP – Murate of potash

SSP – Single super phosphate

NPK – Nitrogen , potassium , phosphorus

NPK – Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorus

Nitrogen

Nitrogen is a very important and needed for the  plant growth and development and give the palnt energy to grow ,and produce fruit and vegetables.

Nitrogen is actually considered as the most important component for supporting plant growth.Nitogen is part of chlorophyll which gives plants their green color and is involved in creating food for the plants through photosynthesis. Lack of nitrogen shows up as general yellowing of leaves. Because nitrogen can move around in the plant, older growth often yellows more than the new growth.

Potassium

Potassium is an essential nutrient for plant growth.

It increase root growth and improves the drought resistance to the plant and maintain turgor ,reduce water loss and wilting of the plant , play a role in photosynthesis and food formation ,reduces respiration preventive energy losses and it will increase the plants protein content , Helps in resistance to crop diseases.

Phosphorus

Stimulated root development

Increased stalk and stem strength

Improved flower formation and seed production

More uniform and earlier crop maturity

Improvements in crop quality

Increased resistance to plant diseases

Supports development throughout entire life cycle.

DAP- Diammonium phosphate

It is a world widely used phosphorus fertilizers. It’s a excellent source of the Nitrogen phosphorus for plant nutrition. It is highly soluble in and thus dissolve quickly in the soil to release plant available phosphate and nitrogen.

MOP – Murate of potash

Its rich in Potasium

It stimulates the growth of strong stem and gives the plant some disease resistance by promoting thickness of the outer cell walls.

Adequate potassium can reduce moisture loss from growing plants ,there by given some drought resistance.

It improves colour , flavor , and storing quality of fruits and vegetables .

Urea

Is a most important nitrogenous fertilizer,it rich in nitrogen content .

Main function of urea is to provide the plants with nitrogen to promote green leafy growth and make the plants look lush and it improves the photosynthesis process of plant.

Urea fertilizer can provide only nitrogen and not phosphorus , potassium.

Its primarily used for the bloom growth.

SSP – Single super phosphate

It is having phosphorus, sulpher, calcium

It increase the resistance power of plants against attack of pest and diseases

Increase the protein content

Helps in improving root growth and development

It improves the soil aeration and increases the water holding capacity of soil and increase root growth and increase the crop yield .

Plant was absorbing the three different types of nutrients for their development like Root growth, Flowering, New leaf initiation , Plant growth so here the plant is taking for their growth , the final product of the plant like fruit its rich in proteins , vitamins, minerals , carbohydrates etc…

When applying nutrients either it natural or synthetic nutrients to the plants they will use it for their development and to finish their life cycle they applied (N,P,k etc….) nutrients wont store in the leaves or fruits

If the fruits are eaten by the human beings there are no side effects come from the fruits and vegetables.

Key words – Synthetic Nutrients , NPK,DAP,MOP and their uses
