HOW TO GROW ALOEVERA AND USES

WHAT IS ALOE VERA: –

Aloe Vera is the medicinal plant that’s been used to treat various health conditions for thousands of years. It’s usually safe to use directly from the plant or you can buy it in gel form.

STEPS TO GROW: –

1.MATERIALS LIST: –

  • An aloe Vera leaf
  • A Clay pot with large holes in it
  • Potting soil
  • Watering device
  • Knife
  • Spoon

2. PREPERE THE POT: –

          First check your pot, your pot should have large holes for water drainage. Then get a piece of broken pottery & place it over the holes like shown above, this piece should keep the dirt from falling out of the pot but it will still drain water: Next, fill the pot with potting soil until it is 1 inch below the edge of the pot.

3. PLANT THE ALOE VERA: –

       Take the leaf of aloe Vera& place it on the soil so it lays flat. Then push it a little into the soil. The aloe Vera should still be exposed a little next, find a place to set your pot & aloe it should be near sunlight & on something that you’re okay getting wet.

4. HOW TO CARE FOR AN ALOE VERA PLANT: –

Aloe Plants need about six to Eight hours of sunlight per day. Young plants need less direct sunlight then more mature plants. Typically, aloe plants are grown in warmer climates, but they can be grown indoors during colder months.

Water your aloe plant when the soil is dry for about two inches below the surface, you can use your finger to determine how dry the soil is.

Depending on your climate, you may need to water once in week or even less, always on the side of less to avoid watering, which can cause the tips of the aloe leaves to brown.

HOW TO USE ALOE VERA: –

First pick a leaf, if you look in the end than you picked, you should see a clear jelly like pulp next, take a knife and cut the aloe Vera length ways in half.

  • Apply to stings & insect bites to sooth it
  • Helps heal bruises
  • It can take care of rashes
