HOW TO WATER PLANTS IN VACATION

Garden is the beautiful place, where we can see the greenery around our home. And it is the place we can get peace to the mind also. So when it comes to the point of mentainace the application of water, nutrient, and other plant operations also important.  Sometimes we are not there to take proper care and sometimes we miss also. It happens when we are on vacation. Its ok to miss the nutrient application but when it comes to the point of watering its more important. Watering is the most important plant care operation.so every day 2 times a day we need to water the plants i.e. once in evening and morning. if we miss then there is no proper growth of the plants and for other life cycle activities also.

SO HERE I HAVE SOME IMPORTANT TIPS TO WATERING THE PLANTS IN VACATION

1. DRIP IRRIGATION

 It is also known as trickle irrigation. Drip irrigation is micro irrigation method. Which optimizes the use of irrigation water by providing it uniformly and directly to the roots of the plants rather than the entire land surface on which the crop is grown, through a closed network of plastic pipe and emitter.

Rate of the water application is very low and without any pressure I .e drop by drop.

In vertical gardening also it is the one of the important method of watering.

1. Mulching

It is one of the practice, where we can cover the soil with the help organic residues by using leaf and bark etc. it will help to reducer evaporation of water from the soil and help to sustain the soil moisture. It also helps to reduce the weed growth. Even it retain water level for some days.

• Leaves: 2- to 3-inch layer of leaves provides good weed control. It is best to shred the leaves coarsely, using a shredder or your lawn mower. Whole leaves have a tendency to blow away, while finely shredded leaves do not allow water to penetrate.

1. Keeping water bottles in pots

Here i am going to share one method .i.e. fill the water in the bottle fully and keep it in slant position by loosening its cap otherwise make holes on the top of the bottle so that water can move drop by drop.so its can prevent the scarcity of water.

1. Keeping the pots in bath tubs

It is the one of the alternative methods to keep / maintain the soil moisture level pots.so you can keep the plant pots in bath tub. Fill the water in tub in minimum quantity of water, make sure that pots don’t have more holes on the bottom surface of the pots.

1. By informing to the neighbor to watering the plants regularly in our vacation.
2. By rain water harvest also. Making the way to flow the rain water to the plant place by using the pipelines or by making the path.so whenever it’s raining so plants can get water in the vacation. Because of this soil should be moist.
3. Precautions also need to take that pots should have a holes so that whenever more quantity of water is there so it can drained out. Plant can utilize sufficient quantity of water for the daily life cycle .
