When your blood sugar levels are higher than normal, its carbohydrates such as pasta, fruits, milk, dessert and bread that are usually responsible. When one is diabetic, a meal plan is very important because it guides you on what kind of foods to eat. It should be good enough to fit in your eating habits and also your schedule.
Here is a list of foods you can eat to reduce your blood suga
1.Neem
The bitter leaf of Neem is an effective remedy for treating diabetes as they are loaded with flavonoids, triterpenoid, anti-viral compounds and glycosides, which may help manage blood sugar levels. To make Neem powder, take some dried Neem leaves and grind them in a blender until smooth. You can consume this powder twice daily for optimum benefits.
2.Cauliflower
Cauliflower are very beneficial in terms of the glycemic load. These vegetables are often seen in the health news since they are known for their heart disease and anti-cancer characteristics. If taken regularly, this unique blend of phytonutrients is very healthy and absorbed well in the body
3.Curry leaves

4.Tomatoes
Whole tomatoes are low in carbohydrates. This fruit has minimal impact on blood sugars and is safe to consume for diabetics. Make sure you consume the fruit, and not the juice
5.Bitter gourd
Bitter gourd contains two very essential compounds called carotene and momordicine (Agent) that have blood-glucose lowering properties. Drink bitter gourd juice on an empty stomach every morning
6.Carrot
Diabetics can opt for carrots in their daily diet despite its sweet flavour as it can help manage blood glucose levels. Carrot juice may still contain sugar and carbohydrates, it won’t spike the blood sugar levels.
